I am selling a Guild JF-55 12 string jumbo acoustic guitar. The guitar is pre-owned and in excellent condition. There are subtle scratches on the left hand side of the guitar and several cosmetic small dents on the rear of the head stock. I have tried to show these slight imperfections in the photos. None of these cosmetic issues in anyway impact the playability of the guitar which is big, bold and beautiful. The guitar comes with a lined, hardshell case. The big Guild 12-strings have a loud, balanced, clear, and fully articulated sound that frankly leaves other 12-string guitars far in the background. Such a guitar is the Guild JF-55, available in both 6 string and 12 string versions. 

The large Guilds are made in both Dreadnought and Jumbo versions. The dreadnought being a squarish, thick waisted (Martin) type while the Jumbo has the more pronounced curves and wasp waist that is a Gibson trademark. 

The Guild JF-55 12 String Guitar is of the Jumbo style and is made out of premium solid wood - no veneers, plywood, pressed wood or other inferior materials whatsoever. I don’t know if you can buy a new one or not as the Guild website seems to indicate that they are discontinued. However, you probably can still find a Guild 12 string at your dealer since styles change without notice, as you probably know. 

The Guild JF-55 Jumbo 12 String has a solid wood body made of curly maple or rosewood with a solid triple-A grade Sitka Spruce top for maximum resonance. The neck is made of three piece Mahogany-Maple-Mahogany for warp resistance and the fingerboard is made of finest ebony, the most coveted fingerboard material yet discovered. The body is finished in high grade nitrocellulose lacquer for the best tonal transmission, just like the high grade Gibson models. This finish melds with the wood and will age to the revered vintage look that most guitar players love. 

The trimmings are deluxe, with binding - serving both decorative and protective purposes - around the body, neck, and headstock of the guitar. Lavish use of mother of pearl and abalone mark the fingering positions and the headstock has the famous Guild name logo and shield inlaid in mother of pearl, also. Cast gold-plated Grover machine heads handle the tuning chores and the bridge is ebony. The finishing touch is a tortoise shell or black pick guard. 

The neck on the twelve-string is 1 13/16” wide, similar to most twelve strings, which require a little wider neck to accommodate the extra strings. The scale length is 25 5/8” which corresponds to most guitars that follow the Gibson Jumbo pattern, and contributes to the excellent playability of the Guild. 

This is a 2012 Guild F-47R in antique burst finish and D-Tar electronics. It is in mint condition. 
It has not been owned or jammed on. It has only been played to test the frets and electronics.

Up for sale is another highly desirable and quite rare acoustic – a beautiful and great-sounding 1970 Guild F-50 Jumbo acoustic guitar with a fabulous Natural finish, and stunning fingerboard pearl inlays. In fact, these are some of the nicest pearl inlays to ever garner any fingerboard. Take a good, close look at the pictures below and you'll see clearly what we're talking about.

Additionally, this particular is from 1970. Many of the F-50s out there are from the mid-to-late 1970s. You simply don't see too many of these guitars from the early 1970s, but here's a good one!

The condition of this fabulous Guild Jumbo is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. Being as honest as we can about its condition, this guitar definitely shows its age, but it's still in really nice shape and plays and sounds incredibly. If you're looking for that special Guild F-50 Jumbo with its legendary Jumbo sound and tone, then you need to seriously consider this acoustic. There are a few surface scratches, nicks and dings, but none have penetrated to the inside of the guitar. There are also at least two top cracks that have been professionally repaired, and we also also believe the pickguard has been reglued to the guitar - probably at the same time the cracks were repaired. However, all of the work appears to have been done some time ago AND by a very experienced luthier. As we said, the guitar shows its age, but it also plays and sound as beautiful as any F-50 - or Gibson J-200 - we've ever had! It has a very booming projection, and a nicely balanced tone for being a Jumbo acoustic. The frets still have plenty of life, and the neck is straight as an arrow. This would be a very welcome addition to any collection or player's arsenal of guitars.

It also comes with its original black hardshell acoustic case.

Up for auction is a vintage Guild S-300 (s300) electric guitar and original Guild hard shell guitar case. This items condition is used. Here is what I know about the guitar and I am no expert. Not the first owner of this guitar and not sure how many different owners there have been in the past. I know there have been 3 but probably more. It looks like all the hardware is original and some are labeled with the work Guild. The overall condition of the guitar is good to great. It plays and sounds great. I know it's from the 1970's and most likely a 1976/1977. The frets are in average condition as it has been played, worn down some and have no divots in them that I can see. The neck looks straight but I have been told that the treble side is very slightly "curved" (I'm not sure what that means). There is great checking on the neck and body, mostly on the back side, and I know how you guitar enthusiasts love some good checking. There are some very small scrapes and dents around the edges (I have tried to show them in the pictures). No major chips or damage. If you need any additional high quality photos please send me and email requesting them and I will send them to you directly. The guitar serial number on the back of the head is 154043. The black hard shell guitar case looks like the original Guild case and inside the storage area it has a guild tag and serial number. The outside of the case has a lot of scratches, tears, and other shelf wear marks. There is also two stickers on the top of the case that is not original. If there is anything else that I missed here, please let me know.

This guitar has been stamped "used" or "2nd" on the back of the headstock. Each guitar has been fully inspected and cleared by a certified re-furbisher. The guitar is in like new mint condition. Some may have a few strum marks or box scuffs that would easily buff out but most guitars are 100% flaw free. Any visible flaws are outlined in the description and include up close pictures of the specific flaw. All of our guitars come with a standard factory setup but may require a small amount of fine tuning to fit the players personal taste. The guitars are void of the original factory warranty, however we offer a 30 day return for every guitar. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!
