Up for sale is my wonderful and rare Guild JF-55 sunburst in great condition, no cracks and hardly any scratches with a great sound. The JF55 is Guild's top of the line rosewood jumbo. It has all solid rosewood back and sides with select AAA solid spruce top with abalone rosette. The ebony fretboard is inlaid with mother of pearl blocks with abalone insets and it's complemented with an ebony bridge
The guitar comes with an original Fishman Natural pickup and pre-amp. It has the classic Guild low-action and its neck plays really fast and comfortably, both for flatpicking and fingerpicking. It has a well-balanced sound, with nice deep bass. All its parts are originial, and it comes with a hard shell case. I had its neck re-varnished a few years back.
The guitar was manufactured in June 1996 at Guild's Rhode Island factory. Its serial number is AJ550369. Here are some specs I got from the company:
