Hello again Guild guitar fans, today we have a fairly rare 1960 Guild M65 Freshman. You might ask what is rare about that. The answer is that this M65 is the full 24 3/4 scale neck. Most M65s are the 3/4 guitars. This guitar has the full 22 frets. The guitar is 100% original but come in a newer TKL hard case. You can see the condition of this guitar through the photos. It has light finish checking, some dings, dent and small scratches, but is really clean for an almost 52 year old guitar. The worst of the finish issues is at the rear bottom edge as you can see in the photo of the output jack. The guitar has never had any repairs and does not need any. This guitar is the true little brother of the M75 Aristocrat. Has the exact same Dearmond pickup and it will scream. The bodies are the same size, the guitar is very light at nearly 5 LBS.
Guitar description - As you can see from the photos it is really pretty clean. It plays with very low action and a straight neck. Frets show minor wear but will last for years. Please see photo of frets. There is no buzz and it does not fret out. Fretboard is rosewood and is clean. Rosewood floating bridge is perfect. The Dearmond pups is powerful and when pushed will scream. The pickup is missing the screw under the D string but you cannot tell when plugged in. The screws on either side pick up the string fine. Was going to get one at the hardware store, but it didn't make any differnece in the sound. All electronics are original and function perfectly. Binding is 100% tight, no shrinkage. Bound neck as well on this model. Neck joint is tight with no issues. Tuners function fine and are original. Ghost label inside bass side f-hole. The neck is small and easy to play. There are scratches on the back, but none through the finish. So basically the guitar is 100% original, except case, it is really pretty clean for a 51 year old guitar, everything works and it sounds great. Please ask any additional questions you may have.
Warrenty - I will warrenty the guitar for 3 days after delivery that it functions as stated in this listing. If not I will pay for the repair or you can send it back for a refund of purchase price and original shipping cost. Buyer pays return shipping. I do not garauntee guitars for buyer remorse. The guitar functions perfectly now so you should have no issues.
