Minty '72 Guild starfire III. As you can see in the photos it looks like it has barely been played. Guitar comes with it clean original Guild case and also comes with a very cool 5 page foldout card showing all guild accessories at the time. The finish looks beautiful. The entire guitar has only 3 small dings. A small one next to the pickguard bracket (which can be seen in the top photo) and 2 on the top of the headstock. But still not through the red paint. There are some very light scratches from light playwear and some scratches where the bridge has moved around some over the years. There is also some very light finish checking starting, but again is very light and normal for a 40 year old guitar. That is it. The rest is super clean. The hardware is clean, the bisgby is clean. The front, back and neck are so clean you can eat off of it. (Although I don't know why you would). Seriously folks, this is one beautiful guitar showing only very minor playwear. A vintage starfire just does not come any cleaner than this.

The guitar is 100% original including the case. The binding is perfect with no cracks, lifting or seperating at all. The frets, as shown in the photo, are the 1st -4th frets and as you can see there isn't any wear at all. They are medium frets and are crowned perfectly. The neck joint is stable and has never had a reset. The action is nice and low. Plays like a dream with no dead spots. The neck is perfectly straight. The back of the neck has 0 marks on it.(except my fingerprints) The headstock laminant is also perfect. No shrinking, not pulling up anywhere. The pickups are high output and will scream when pushed. These pickups, going against popular incorrect belief, are the exact same HB1 humbuckers put in the 60s models with the mini-humbuckers. They are just full size. These pickups remained the same until the late 70s. The guitar is a full hollowbody making it nice and light to play for 3-4 hours on a gig.
